Softscape Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Wayland, MA – April 16, 2008 - Softscape, the global leader in integrated people management software, today announced that William G. Brown joined the company as its new chief financial officer. With more than 25 years of experience as a financial executive, Brown will aid Softscape’s aggressive growth plans as the leading strategic human capital management solutions provider.

Brown is a seasoned leader who embraces a company’s vision and delivers results. As the CFO and treasurer at Authoria, Inc., he was instrumental in securing private equity financing, making two strategic acquisitions, and developing the core business administration functions. At ChannelAdvisor Corporation, where he served as CFO, he helped raise $40 million in funding, drove the acquisition of a key competitor, and led the strategic planning process. Brown also held roles as CFO, treasurer, and executive vice president at Lightbridge, Inc., which he helped take public in 1996, and financial and accounting management positions at BBN Technologies and Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells.
