Softscape Learning Management System (LMS) is a user-friendly system that automates and manages all aspects of employee training across the entire organization. The web-based solution frees human resource professionals from the burden of managing training and development paperwork so that they can focus on internal consulting with managers and employees.
Beyond student registration, Softscape’s LMS includes site administration, curriculum management, course management, class scheduling, instructional administration (waitlists, attendance, grading, scoring, notifications), distance learning, educational asset management, evaluations and transcripts.
Softscape Learning Content Management System (LCMS) provides version control for training content (e.g., documents, HTML files, Flash files, SCORM or AICC standard course material) that can be published and used in Softscape LMS. Training material stored in LCMS can be organized and directly assigned to a Softscape LMS course.
Softscape LCMS enables education managers and developers to work in a collaborative environment to create or import course material from other storage locations (e.g., personal computers, legacy training content servers) and manage these resources, from version to version, throughout their lifecycles. Softscape LCMS also controls when course material is available to students in Softscape LMS, ensuring that students cannot access works in progress.
