Solutions Specialist/Engineer

Job Description:

This position represents an exciting new career opportunity for the right person! We will train you to work with our Sales Team to become a Sales Engineer for one of the world’s premier Human Capital Management software companies. You will works closely with field sales and inside representatives to provide and coordinate technical support during the entire sales cycle, from qualification through to closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Presents and demonstrates products and solutions to current and prospective customers, while participating in sales calls as technical resource.
  • Work closely with Development, Product Marketing, Services, and Customer Support by providing feedback on potential product enhancements and competitive direction
  • Works closely with sales representatives as a technical consultant of Softscape technologies during sales calls and sales visits.
  • Answers technical questions and conducts demonstrations of product expressions and new features to prospects and to various groups within existing customer accounts
  • Provides technical descriptions and content for proposals in response to RFPs & RFQs

Qualifications:

  • Desire to make a move into a sales support role.
  • Very strong hands on programming experience with HTML, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Any hands-on XML experience.
  • 4 Year college degree, preferably in Computer Science.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
