Technical Consultant

Softscape has an opportunity for a Technical Consultant with strong communication skills and solid programming experience. Consultants work on project teams delivering state-of-the-art enterprise web applications. This position involves technology configuration and web application development, testing, and deployment. Key attributes include technical fluency and the ability to work in a team environment. Technical consultants are responsible for designing, developing, and testing business applications, enhancing existing applications, addressing user issues, and developing and executing test plans.

Requirements:

• University Degree (or similar) with related experience
• Web Application Development experience
  - SQL Server, Oracle and/or DB2
  - HTML
  - JavaScript
  - Server-side scripting (ASP, JSP, etc)
• Application Testing and Deployment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Consulting experience
• Technical team leadership
• Technical architecture and design
• Certification, MCSE/MCSD/MCDBA
