Senior Technical Consultant

Job Description:

Softscape has an opportunity for a technical professional with strong leadership, communication skills and solid programming experience. Our Sr.Technical Consultants manage project development teams who are designing and delivering state-of-the-art enterprise web applications. They also interface directly with client IT directors and managers.

This position involves technical team leadership, technology configuration and web application development, testing, and deployment. Key attributes include technical planning and management skills, technical fluency and the ability to work in a team environment. Sr. Technical Consultants are responsible for the complete lifecycle of web application development – from designing, developing, and testing business applications, enhancing existing applications, addressing user issues, and developing and executing test plans.

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science with related experience
• Significant Web Application Development experience (SQL Server, Oracle and/or DB2, HTML, Java script, Server-side scripting ASP JSP)
• Development team leadership
• Interaction with client IT directors and managers
• Application Testing and Deployment
• HR experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A Plus:

• Consulting experience
• Business process analysis
• Certification, MCSE/MCSD/MCDBA
• Technical architecture and design
