Softscape has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Project Manager. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Managing business application development projects through all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements definition through testing and deployment.
- Planning and delivering business solutions, including defining complex business processes based on core system architecture, writing requirements documents and functional specifications, and build a project plan including both internal and external tasks, activities and dependencies, baseline and manage plan.
- Manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Perform initial risk assessment with technical lead and develop risk and issue management plan with Technical Lead.
- Reviews and effectively resolves all technical issues related to assigned projects.
- Prepare and manage communication plan which identifies and defines communication with all stakeholders.
- Forecast completion estimates associated with all managed projects. Perform time tracking for all consultants assigned to the project. Validate invoice hours/days provided and expenses according to the terms of the contract SOW etc.
- 5+ years software application Project Management with consulting experience.
- Proven leadership, team building and people development skills
- Technical expertise with Web Application Development utilizing SQL Server, Oracle and/or DB2, HTML, JavaScript
- Application Testing and Deployment
- BS degree
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
